The Committee
Membership of the Association is open to all former students of Tadcaster Grammar School and is also open to all members of staff past and present. The membership is currently about 400. The only significant expenditure is that involved in printing and circulating the Newsletter. To date members have been asked to pay £5 once every two years. The Association holds a reunion every two years. The last reunion to be held was in September 2007 which was the 450th anniversary of the school’s foundation. Notice of events is circulated by newsletter, press, local radio and now via this website.

We are always happy to welcome others to our committee. Being a committee member doesn’t involve much effort, meetings which total only three or four a year are cordial, light-hearted gatherings of nonetheless committed people. Our fervent hope is that others will join us and help to bring new ideas about what should be the function of the Association and, most importantly, ensure its future.
